I hope this message is finding everyone safe and well. I wanted to take this opportunity to share the safety measures that Buckingham Pest Control is taking to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. The team at BPCI would also like to take this time to send our thoughts and prayers to the nation, our elected officials, the St. Louis communities, our first responders and everyone impacted by the pandemic. 

The pest control industry’s mission is to provide our world with safer food and healthier environments. As such, the pest control industry has been deemed an 

“essential service” by the Dept. of Homeland Security in the memorandum entitled: Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response. We have been monitoring all updates from the CDC and working hard to comply with all best practices and recommendations for our team.

Effective immediately we will be limiting physical interaction between our technicians and our customers. We will no longer require signatures for services rendered and the invoice will automatically be sent via email for payment.

BPCI technicians have been instructed to follow the CDC guidelines to minimize the risk of transmission.

BPCI has had no one within the company confirmed to have COVID-19 and anyone who is showing signs of illness is being asked to stay home.

For all of our customers, and prospective customers, we are recommending that future services be converted to our quarterly exterior only program. The industry has been heading this direction for many years and this is a good time to consider that as an option going forward.

For the first time in our lifetimes, we have been asked to take extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of our communities. The team at BPCI is up for the task and willing to do our part to keep our customers pest-free. I am sure everyone is aware that every day that goes by gets us closer to the bug season and unfortunately the termites and ants and spiders are unaware of what is going on. We will do our best to keep your home and family pest-free!!!
